After watching a documentary on paper folding on Independent Lens: Between the Folds, I pulled paper out of the cupboard and started folding and folding and folding. I followed no rules or instructions, just created symmetrical folds and allowed shapes to form.
After photographing the paper I became interested in what would happen if I introduced color and texture into the black and white images. These wallpapers are the final result of my paper experiment. If you would like to see the original photography check out Playing with Paper on our portfolio.
