Online Response Magazine

Last entry we told you about how we earned a CASE District VIII* Silver award for the Study Abroad website at Seattle Pacific University. I just learned that we also won a BRONZE for Online ResponseMagazine in the broad category of Periodicals which covers E-mail or Web-Based Newsletters & Magazines!

This is really exciting since this was one of the last projects I worked on while on staff at Seattle Pacific University in the marketing and communications department. In fact on my last week in Seattle, just before we moved I put the final touches on the Response site!

When I first started on staff at SPU I restructured the online magazine format to be more readable and usable, but was never quite satisfied because we were still rolling out mini-sites and did not have a landing page/centralized location to settle.

After some great conversations with the magazines editor and online editor, I finalized some wireframes and began to build out the site. We later added in video integration with embeded videos from a YouTube account!
